Day 2 of purple nails!!!

In Case any of you guys didnt see my last post, this week is Animal Abuse Awareness week, and in support of it im having my nails purple all week long :)

I ended up stamping my color club with silver paw prints and cats but it didnt look nice so I never posted it :(

However today I did a nice purple gradient and stamped it with pink cheetah print :) I started out with 2 coats of China Glaze Sweet Hook. I then used a make-up sponge and sponged on China Glaze Spontaneous and China Glaze Jungle Queen. I loves the way the purple blended they are gorgeous together!!!!

I then used my Konad pink stamping polish and Drk-A plate and stamped on some cheetah print to represent an animal :) Oh while I think of it id also love some feedback on my new boarders around my photos he he <3

I actually really like the pink with the purple. Its really girly and feminine to me. I'm really loving stamping and wanting to get better at it. I ordered the new BM set yesterday and cant wait for it to come in so I can play around with it <3

I also thought id show you guys what came in the mail yesutrday adn what I bought today :) Yestrday I got a much anticipated polish that a girl in my birthday group helped me get. Its my first Whimsical Ideas by Pam!!!! I got Kitty Glitter which even more gorgeous in real life!! Sooo cant wait to try it out hehe

Then today I had to buy 3 more of the new China Glaze Safari collection :). I got Desert Sun, Im Not Lion, and Jungle Queen. All the colors in the collection are cute but I only really love 6 of them.

I hope you all are having a great week, and for my fellow Canadians I hope you all have a great long weekend. Im not sure how much ill be on between now and sunday as tomorrow im spending the whole day with my grandma for her birthday and then friday im going away for 2 days so hopefully ill ahve time on thursday to check in, if not Happy Canadas Day!!!! <3

The Lazy Days of Summer challenge day 1

Today is the start of a new seasonal challenge for me!!! Its called The Lazy Days of Summer, which like the spring one consists of 14 challenges that you get to do at your own pace but you must follow the correct order. I love these as I don't have the time to stick to dates one :)

The first theme is beach themed. I put alot of thought into this an decided to do both hands differently. The one had is under the water at the beach seeing all the animals and fish, and the other is a sunset on a beach with palm trees. I used China Glaze Tronicas and Ludurana Magnifica as the bases stamped the fish with Konad m27 and the palm trees with to-03. I free handed the beach on with a stripe rite and colored in the fish with them as well.

I am sooo happy with this manicure that im leaving it on for another day!!! I just cant take it off when its soo pretty and summery!!!!

Also I picked the winner for my giveaway today and already emailed her!!! Its Ellie Rosencrans, congratulation!!!

Now if you want to see more awesome summer head on over to visit the other lovely ladies who are participating in this challenge!!!

Rainbow Honey the Equestria Collecion

Tonight I have a very glitterfied post for you all. Yesterday I came home to my much anticipated Rainbow Honey order!!!!! In case you don't know who Rainbow Honey is she has a facebook page and a blog . You can only get her polishes through pre-orders but I love that you don't have to wait all night for a store to open :)

This was the first time Ive tried one of her polishes and it wont be the last. I bought the whole mini set to try them out and I love the fact that they are 7ml!!! They are also jam packed with glitter, no fishing around needed. Here's how she describes her 6 colors :)

She describes all these colors perfectly!!!!

Now to see what my bottles looked like, they are sooo sticking adorable!!!!

Shes obviously put alot of thought into the design of her bottles and labels and it shows. the names are on the tops of the bottles which I love because they will be really easy to see in my helmer, and her logo is really creative.

So after looking at her swatches I decided to do 2 coats of each of the polishes over a white base. Next time im definatly gonna try them over a black base :)

Left side :
Pinkie/thumb : A little kindness
Pointer/ring : The element of magic
Middle : 20% cooler

Right side:
Pinkie/thumb : Pinkie promise
Pointer/ring : Hoof wrassle
Middle: The worst thing possible

My favorites definatly have to be Pinkie promise and The worst thing possible. I love the glitter in them and that they are really girly. All of these colors are definatly really unique and a must have to anyone collection.

Anyways I hope you all like my swatches and look out for tomorrows post where im starting a new challenge :)

Elemental Styles Sexual Hel-ium

Today I have a quick post about a new indie polish I recieved on Friday. I was lucky and when Elemental Styles restocked her etsy shop I picked up 3 minis!!!! Sexual Hel-ium, Neon Lights and Can I Buy You a Zinc. So being the pink lover I am, I figured id try Sexual Hel-ium first!!!!

Whitney describes Sexual Hel-ium as ``a feisty fuchsia jelly with an array of pink and silver holographic glitters swimming throughout! It actually goes on opaque in 2-3 coats and is not as "see through" in person as it appears in some of the pictures! It's probably one of my favorite polishes I've made--it makes you feel fabulous and girly when you wear it! Barbie would've killed for this polish. Sexual Hel-ium is a shout out to Marvin Gaye's song from the 80's and is named after the lightest, squeak-iest of the noble gases, the second element, Helium!``

She definatly nailed it with that description and it is gorgeous!!! Definitely going to need a full size of this now lol. For my manicure I used 3 coats and there is hardly an VNL left which I love.

Isn't that so girly and fun!!!! I cant wait to see it outside in the sun in a bit.If you guys are interested in knowing when she restocks her shop she mentions in on her facebook page  :)

Hope you all have a great day, I know I will im off and its gonna be 40 degrees celsius today!!

CG I Herd That over Kalahari Kiss

As you guys saw on my post yesterday I picked up to of the new China glaze Safari Colors, I Herd That and Kalahari Kiss. I figured these would look gorgeous together and man was I ever right. I was staring at my nails all day today.

Kalahari Kiss is a pale camel cream that applies really nice. Took two even coats for full coverage.

I then did one layer of I Herd That which is a glitter that has gold, copper, and tan glitter in it. It applies really nice with even glitter coverage. This color is sooo amazing!!!!

I love how this is high impact glitter but a pretty neutral color. Would be a great combo for New Years or a special occasion where you want some glamour but nothing crazy.

Now today I also recieved my first Julep Mystery box and I was sooo underwhelmed by it. I got a nail file, Emma & Gayle polishes, Julep Elixir,  Glycolic Scrub and the Hand Brightening cream. Those colors are soo not me.

I may give the mystery box one more try next time to see if it gets any better but right now I definatly prefer the boxes where you get to see what your getting.

Anyways I hope you all had a great day :)

OPI Black Spotted

Today I have for you guys OPI Black Spotted!!! In case anyone doesn't know what it is, it a polish that OPI released only in France as part of there OPI Spider man collection. It replaced there shatter in it.
I was sooo excited to get a chance to get one of these babies. It did cost $28 cdn with shipping but is totally worth it.

I was a bit impatient with letting my manicure fully dry that's why there are a few cracks in it, but I don't mind them. The bottom colors from pink to thumb are all the following China Glazes : I'm with the lifeguard, Spontaneous, Sun-kissed, Flip flop fantasy, and Turned up turquoise.

I love the way this looks!!! I went over each nail a few times to get the more smaller circles and love it. Definitely worth every penny an soooo glad I was able to get this!!!

Now for the polishes I got today :). And work today the new China Glaze Safari collection came in!!! There are a bunch of pretty polishes in this collection bought I only bought 2 for now, Kalahari kiss and I herd that.

I also came home to some awesome nail mail from Elemental Styles. If you've never tried her polishes before definatly check her out on etsy shes awesome. I choose to get 2 minis the last time she restocked :)

Now to go paint my nails for tomorrows post, hope you all had a great Monday <3

On Friday when I got home from work I was greeted with 3 lots of nail mail!!!! I was soo glad to welcome a weekend starting off that way he he. It started off with a package I didnt expected to get for a couple of weeks from a lovely lady in France that got me OPI Black Spotted!!!!!

I then got a package from a close friend in Sweden who sent me 4 plates and my first Depend Polish number 513, which is absolutely stunning!!!!

Revlon Grape Franken

I was snooping on the Spectraflair face book page the other day and saw a franken that Lori did with SF and Revlon Grape. Since it looked totally awesome I had to try it out. I filled about 2/3 of empty Seche Vite bottle with the Revlon Grape, then added 3 good scopes of SF-14 and then topped it up with clear and shock it like crazy, after adding in some silver balls. And this is what was created :)

I loved the way this turned out the holo was insane in the sun!!!! And I speak past tense there as I wore this today and already changed my manicure for tomorrow but ill post that tomorrow as im going away for the weekend again :)

Also thought id show you what I bought from Sephora today!1 I used these for my current manicure :)

I got a set of Tokidoki nail decals and one of there polishes called Stellina,
which is a pink and purple glitter!!! I also took another picture of my hair as promised, this was after putting hot rollers in it.

I'm loving the way the colors blend into each other, definatly gonna keep this for awhile :)

Hope you all have a great Friday <3

Orly Synchro

I'm sorry for being away for the past for days, I loved my last manicure soo much it was sooo hard to take off. But I did to wear one of the new Orly Electronica collection polishes that will be out at Sally Beauty next month. I also have some nail mail that I received today!!!

First off with the manicure. for the I used 3 coats of Orly Synchro, its a new duo-chrome that goes from a deep pink coral tone to a blurple. Its absolutely stunning in real life, the color shift in phenomenal it was sooo hard to capture it.

I also went and got a hair cut and since I was too lazy to bleach out the colors in my hair to change them I got them to do that too. I decided to do orange and pink this time, to kinda look like a sunset/sunrise.

I love it its soo bright and colorful, ill post another pic tomorrow when I style it since I just told her to dry it a bit so I can curl it tomorrow.

Now for the nail mail I got a bunch of Konad stuff. There red, pink and yellow stamping polishes as well as plates m27 and m78.

I hope you all are having a great day <3

Adventure in Stamping : Hot Hot Hot!!!

Sundays challenge this week in Adventures in Stamping is Hot Hot Hot!!! My interpretation of this would either be bright neon colors, or a sexy design. So I decided to combine the two!!! This manicure took me just over 3 hours to do... And that's with a crappy clean up as y skins dry and 2 didnt want to ruin the manicure before the pictures he he.

I started out with 2 coats of Billie French White. I then free handed on rainbow stripes, doing 2 coats of each. The colors I used were: Orly Beach Cruiser (pink), Orly Melt Your Popsicle (orange), Orly Glow Stick (yellow), Finger Paints Silkscreen Green (green) and Orly Blue Collar (blue). I tried to choose my brightest creams for this manicure.

As much as I loved these by them self, they of course needed some stamping :) I used my DRK-A plate and the konad black polish and decided to do leopard print, since animal print is sexyy!!!!

I find the stamping on my right hand turned out but, but prefer the stripes on my left hand lol. I absolutly love this manicure thou, its sooo bright and fun, definatly plan to leave this one on till Monday especially after all the work it too and the fact that I cant stop looking at them :)

Now in case you guys didnt see I have a giveaway for 2 new Orly Glam FX going on so make sure to go check it out and enter it :)

Hope you all are having a great weekend!!!! <3333

ASBMF: My last challenge

Well I do believe this is the first challenge I have completed from beginning to end, and I must say I loved it!!!! Especially since I was able to go at my own pace :) I cant wait for the summer version to start!!!

The last challenge was " The spring design of your choice". I decided to do a night sky, since I love how in the spring/summer you can just sit outside and look up at the sky and stare at the stars and get lost in it. It has to be the most relaxing thing ever <3

For this manicure I used two of my frankens that I made for my birthday group girls. The base is 2 coats of "Helen" which is a deep blue/purple holographic polish. I then did one coat of my 12th polish which is a hologrpahic glitter called "Nail Junkie" on the ring finger and I lightly burshes it on the tip half of the nail to act as the stars.

I really love the way this combination looks. I tryed to capture tis true beauty in the picture but it just doesnt do it justice. I swear ill ty and get a picture of it in the sun tomorrow as I think itll come to life even more in it.

The top two and bottom right are with flash. The bottom left is no flash. The bottom right I tried to capture the way the colors shift through to polish.

And some exciting news, im picking up the polishes for my 100 follower giveaway tomorrow so be sure to come back tomorrow night and enter :)

Revlon Over The Moon Duo

Today while I was out grocery shopping and such I decided to treat myself to a few new polishes. I finally got the last to Essence color & go colors I was missing which were Glamorous Life and Ultimate Pink, and a Revlon FrenchMix duo in Over the moon.

I decided that since I haven't done a tape mani in a while id use the Revlon duo and have some fun with lines going in different directions. I really like the way this looks and think it would be really sharp in black and white as a pin stripe kind of look.

So I started out with 3 coats of the pink, if I were to wear this color alone I would use 4 cats to make it really opaque. It is a gorgeous baby pink thou with an iridescent blue glitter throughout it.

I then laid down all the tape and did a fairly think coat of the metallic turquoise over top. Next time ill make sure I let the second color dry a bit more before apply topcoat as on my left hand I got a bit of streaking.

I really do like these Revlon duos, and for $9.99 CDN, I think there a pretty good deal.
I may need to get one of the bright ones :)

And now if I didnt love this mani enough before I just added one coat of Models Own Indian Ocean over top or if and I cant stop staring at it!!!!

ASBMF: News paper nails

I know its been a really long time since Ive done an April Showers Bring May Flowers post and that's because this manicure kicked my butt!!!! This was my second time trying it, the first was sooo bad I would even use it for the challenge, so today I made sure to have some patience and tried again.

The first time I tried this I did the soak the paper in vodka adn press it onto my nails. It was sooo faint and smudgy that way. This time i used a cotton pad soaked in alcohol, placed the news paper on it and then dipped my finger into the alcohol and wrap the pad around my finger. I got a much better result this way but I also got alot of ink on my skin which was hard to remove. I also used white as a base the first time I did this and this time I used OPI Care to danse?. I am wayyy happier with this manicure. And I do believe with practice ill get better.

I started with my right hand which is the first photo and you can see it got better as I got to my left hand :)

Have you guys ever done this manicure and if so have any tips?? I really want to try this with an Archie comic book again. Tried it once and got nothing to transfer lol.

Stay turned for my last ASBMF challenge in the next few days!!!!
