Party Nails!!!!

Hey dolls!!!!

 

Thought id do a quick post and show you guys what I did today for my 25th birthday party tonight. I decided to do a pink theme since I loveeee pink. And since I love to bake of course I made my own cupcakes!!! I decided to do a dark chocolate cupcake with fresh raspberry icing!!! I even took fresh raspberries and simmered them down!! They are delicious!!!

 

 

I then decided to make some yummy Jell-o shooters!!! Since my favorite flavor is Fuzzy Navel (orange jell-o and peach schnapps) I used my pink Jell-o shooter cups to put them in.

 

 

And last but definatly not least the pink nails!!! I wanted pink but with a twist so I painted my nails with 4 coats of Billie Electric Pink, then used 2 coats of Julep Katie in different angels, and on Julep Kate I used a Black Stripe Rite to make Zebra print. I must say I really love the way these turned out!!

 

 

And that's the start of my party tonight!!! Now to go find something to wear to fit with my theme!! I hope you all have a great weekend <3

LDOS: Dotting tool summer fun

Hey dolls, hope you all have been having a good week. Ive had a busy one with being back to work and my nephews birthday this weekend. I was off today so finished making his cup cakes and dyed my hair this week, ill post a pic soon of that. So today I decided I would do another challenge and do a mani that ill wear till probably sunday. I'm going up for the party after work on Saturday so I wont have time again till then to do the nails.

So for the Lazy Days of Summer Challenge tonight I decided to try a ruffle mani. I figure this deals with the summer as alot of bathing suits have ruffles and the bright colors just sort of enhance it.

For the ruffles I used the following colors, once I went through them all I just repeated the pattern till I did the whole nail :) I also used my largest dotting tool for this.

I loveee the way this turned out. Ill definatly try this technique again with a different color combo. But its cute and doesn't take long at all. Id say just over an hour while getting distracted :)

Now I thought I'd show you the cupcakes I made for my nephews 3rd birthday. He wanted them to be cars themed!

I got the toys from bulk barn as they were way to cute to pass up. I also wanted to let you all know that I changed some of the prices on my blog sale :) I hope you all have a great weekend and Ill be back on sunday <3

Ice cream and Candy

As you guys saw in my last post its one of my nephews birthdays this weekend, so I decided to do a "birthday" themed manicure. I finally got to use the ice cream adn cupcake stamp on my MLS301 plate. Ive been wanting to use it for a while and figured this one the perfect time to.

I started out with 4 coats of Orly Glow Stick, a neon yellow cream from Orly's new Feel The Vibe collection. I love this color so much, its so ridiculously bright but it does take quiet a few coat to get opaque, if you layered it over white you'd get to use less. I then stamped over it with Konad blue polish since its for a boys birthday but I then decided to add a few pink polka dots with Orly Beach Cruiser also from the Feel The Vibe collection.

I love the way this turned out its so bright and cheerful, definatly perfect for a 7 year olds birthday.

Now I have to show you a picture of his cake, im sooo happy with it!!! He mentioned to my dad that he wanted a baseball cake he has no idea that I made him one :)

I cant wait to see my niece and nephews tomorrow, sadly my brother has them the weekends I work so I don't get to see them as often as id like but I make the most out of the time when I do therefore you guys wont hear from me again until sunday. So i hope you all have a great weekend.

My first Nail-Ventorous polishes :)

Yesterday I got some much anticipated nail mail!!! My 2 Nail Venturous polishes I was able to snag a few weeks ago out of pure luck!!!! I was sooo excited to get them I couldn't wait for them to arrive. I love glitter, even thou removal sucks no matter how you do it lol. The 2 I was lucky to get where Burst of Blue and Sunny Floam. Please excuse any stains on my hands, I was dying hair yesterday :)

Lets start with Burst of Blue. Its a clear base jammed pack full of blue and black matte micro glitter, white and black hex and bar glitter. Its absolutely stunning, especially if your a blue fan like I seem to be lately. The application was flawless. Didn't have to dig around for the glitter. I did use 4 coats for this picture to make it super opaque.

Isn't that just absolutely beautiful?? I don't think anything could make it better!!! I had so many compliments on my nails today wearing these two colors it was insane!!

Now Sunny Floam is a neon yellow and blue matte micro glitter. I have Floam on its way to me once I get it Ill do a comparison of these two :) The application for this one was flawless as well, and I also used 4 coats.

I love how electric this color is. Its sooo bring that it actual captures in the photos for once. I cant wait to do a pedicure with this for the summer :)

Now I thought id share with you guys the cake I made for one of my best friends for her birthday. I'm soo proud of it. She asked for an outdoors cake and wanted it to be carrot flavored. I did a cream cheese icing on it. All is home made :)

Baking is a passion of mine, I love making people cake adn cupcakes for there birthday :)

One day ill have to make a nail polish themed cake he he. Now sadly I probably wont have time to post again till Sunday night as I have her birthday tomorrow and then going to see the Mother-in-law on Sunday so I hope you all have a fantastic weekend <3
