I have started yet another challenge. Its with the same group of ladies that I did "April Showers Bring May Flowers" and "Lazy Days of Summer" challenges. This time around its called "Fall Into Autumn". This this we are doing one per week, so I'm less likely to fall behind this time ;)
The challenges are as follows.

So I decided to do Back to School tonight as tomorrow is the first day of school for the kids around here, and as usual I decided to do each nail something different :)

First I thought Id show you all the polishes I used for this as its alot then after the manicure Ill tell you which I used for each finger. I must say I think I nail'ed this challenge!!!!

LDOS: Dotting tool summer fun

Hey dolls, hope you all have been having a good week. Ive had a busy one with being back to work and my nephews birthday this weekend. I was off today so finished making his cup cakes and dyed my hair this week, ill post a pic soon of that. So today I decided I would do another challenge and do a mani that ill wear till probably sunday. I'm going up for the party after work on Saturday so I wont have time again till then to do the nails.

So for the Lazy Days of Summer Challenge tonight I decided to try a ruffle mani. I figure this deals with the summer as alot of bathing suits have ruffles and the bright colors just sort of enhance it.

For the ruffles I used the following colors, once I went through them all I just repeated the pattern till I did the whole nail :) I also used my largest dotting tool for this.

China Glaze Pink Plumeria
China Glaze Purple Panic
China Glaze Hey Sailor
Orly Melt Your Popsicle
China Glaze Sun-Kissed
China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard
Nails Inc Baker Street
China Glaze Sweet Hook

I loveee the way this turned out. Ill definatly try this technique again with a different color combo. But its cute and doesn't take long at all. Id say just over an hour while getting distracted :)

Now I thought I'd show you the cupcakes I made for my nephews 3rd birthday. He wanted them to be cars themed!

I got the toys from bulk barn as they were way to cute to pass up. I also wanted to let you all know that I changed some of the prices on my blog sale :) I hope you all have a great weekend and Ill be back on sunday <3

Smurf-tastic!!!!!

Hello lovelies!!!! Since I had such a craptacular weekend being sick I decided I needed to paint both my finger nails and my toe nails my favorite color!!!! But good news is is that my voice is slowly coming back, hopefully it'll be good enough to go to work tomorrow. Now I cant even tell you how much I love Nails Inc Baker Street <3 Its just the best cream blue polish ever!!!! Two coats and its perfect. Theres nothing I dont love about it!!!!!

Okay now that you know my love for this polish ill show it to you, dont worry no feet pics :)

Dont you just love that color??? Its such an electric blue, you just cant help but stare at it. Now as beautiful as this color in on its own I wanted a bit of art on my nails and thought my Smurf water decals would be perfect for this. Now next time ill probably choose a lighter shade of blue as the water decals just have a black outline so it's hard to see sometimes but I still think its adorable!!!

What do you guys think?? I wish the smurfs were colored in, maybe with a white so that they would stand out a bit more but overall im happy with it.

Now I have a special picture for you guys of who kept me company all weekend long while i've felt like crap :)

My fur baby Merf!!!! Isnt he adorable!!!!! If I was on my computer he was laying on my hubbys computer chair and if I was on the couch he'd be on my lap. He definatly kept me company <3

Anywho I hope you all had a great weekend and have a great week!!! <3

ASBMF: April Showers

Today is challenge # 3 of April Showers Bring May Flowers, which is April Showers :)

For this I decided I was going to use 2 of the polishes I got in yesterday nail mail. Nails In Baker Street, Max Factor Fantasy Fire and Models Own Ibiza Mix.

This manicure didn't turn out quiet how I envisioned it but its not to bad :)

I started out with 2 coats of the Nails Inc Baker Street. This color is the most stunning blue Ive ever seen!!! I think this is one of my favorite polishes right now, its soooo electric adn the formula was fantastic!!!!

I then applied 2 very thin coats of Max Factor Fantasy Fire. I wanted it to be streaky for the rain effect so that's why I applied it as thin as possible :) I cant wait to try Fantasy Fire over other colors!!

Now this is the part that didn't look how I felt it would. I used Models Own Ibiza Mix on the ring finger for an accent nail. Its supposed to represent the color that come out after then rain, with flowers blossoming, grass turning green,  and pollen in the air :P he he !!! I think Ibiza mix would be much better over a different color :)

So what do you guys think about it?

Elemental Styles Act-inum My Age and nail mail!!!

Today I was lucky and came to a mailbox full of packages!!!! Words cant even describe how happy I was when I pulled 3 packages out of my little mail box!!! I got amazing polishes, adorable socks and yummy chocolate, the socks are from a sock swap in my birthday group :)

Here are some pictures of the mail :)

First up is a swap from Zoe over at OCNPD, she from my birthday group and also had me for the sock swap which are sooo cute!!!

She got me Models Own Head Kandi Ibiza Mix, Nails Inc Baker Street, Max Factor Intense Plum, Max Factor Disco Pink and last but not least Max Factor Fantasy Fire!!! Cant wait to try there babies out!!!!

I also had my order of Kleancolor polishes come in. I got Sugar Coat, Holo Chrome, and Chunky Holo Black!!! So excited to try these out and hopefully order more!!!

And the last mail was my other sock swap from Miagi at Pretty Kitty Claws!!! They are absolutely adorable!! The hubby loved the chocolate eggs he he!!!

Now that you guys got to see what I got to come home to its onto the nail!!! I told you yesterday that today I would use my new Elemental Styles Act-inum my age which is a franken that can be purchased from her  Etsy shop!!!

The polish is a gorgeous purple holographic polish with holographic silver glitter, iridescent glitter, and large and small purple glitters!!! It takes 2 coats to get full coverage. I did find that it was a bit thick when applying but it smoothed out nicely on the second coat!!! I will definatly be buying more of her polishes after seeing how amazing this one is!!!

Isn't it amazing!!!! I have been looking for a great purple go to polish and I think Ive found it!! I bet this will be great on the toes in the summer :)

Anyways tomorrow I will be rocking out some of the lovely polishes the Zoe got me so stay tuned <3
