FiA: School Spirit
Hey dolls
It took me a very long time to decide on what to do for this manicure. its been soo long since Ive been in school I was completely stumped on what to do. So I decided to go out of the box abit and use school lights, and disco balls from the dances as my inspiration.
I used 4 coats of Models Own Juicy Jules for this manicure. my nails seriously looked like a disco ball.
I must say this polish is gorgeous the holo glitter in it is awesome. in the sun light its like a million times better and i would have taken a picture if i didnt get dented :(

Revlon Over The Moon Duo
Today while I was out grocery shopping and such I decided to treat myself to a few new polishes. I finally got the last to Essence color & go colors I was missing which were Glamorous Life and Ultimate Pink, and a Revlon FrenchMix duo in Over the moon.
I decided that since I haven't done a tape mani in a while id use the Revlon duo and have some fun with lines going in different directions. I really like the way this looks and think it would be really sharp in black and white as a pin stripe kind of look.
So I started out with 3 coats of the pink, if I were to wear this color alone I would use 4 cats to make it really opaque. It is a gorgeous baby pink thou with an iridescent blue glitter throughout it.
I then laid down all the tape and did a fairly think coat of the metallic turquoise over top. Next time ill make sure I let the second color dry a bit more before apply topcoat as on my left hand I got a bit of streaking.
I really do like these Revlon duos, and for $9.99 CDN, I think there a pretty good deal.
I may need to get one of the bright ones :)
And now if I didnt love this mani enough before I just added one coat of Models Own Indian Ocean over top or if and I cant stop staring at it!!!!

AinS: Plate ending in 5
I finally have an Adventures in Stamping Sunday challenge for you guys!!!! Either usually I do it and don't like the final look so don't post it or I don't have a plate to use for it. So today was a plate ending in 5 which I surprisingly have 2 of those!!!!
I was sooo excited to get to do one that I decided I would finally try stamping with something other than a Konad Polish.
I started out with 3 coats of Models Own Aqua Violet for the base. I got this color in a recent swap from the lovely Zoe at Obsessive Compulsive Nail Painting Disorder. I love this color, the application was so nice, and the color is gorgeous. I love the duo chrome effect in it even thou my camera didnt want to capture that too well.
I then decided to use China Glaze OMG for the stamping as Ive seen on other blog posts that its worked pretty well. I wish it would of shown up a bit better but I think it looks nice and vintage. I used plate MLS -05 for the design, which is like an antique flower/vine. I also tried to keep the stamp to the outer half of my nail :)
I really like the way this turned out ill try and get a picture in the sun today as the flash makes hard to see in some parts. I think with some practice with this color I could get the hang of it.
Anyways dolls, time to get ready for work, have a great Sunday <3

ASBMF: Rainbow after the rain
Today is challenge number #5 for me of the April Showers Bring May Flowers challenge.
I decided to do a glitter interpretation of a rainbow as i'm completely in love with
Models Own Ibiza Mix!!!
For my manicure I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze Sky High-top which you can see here. I then did a later of Models own Indian Ocean over it. I love how it shimmers between blue and pink. Kinda looks like something wet shinning.
I must say I love this color combo, i think the CG base really makes the Indian Ocean pop :)
Now for the rainbow part I had to use my new love Models Own Ibiza Mix. I used the brush to sort of pat the glitters on, concentrating them on the tip of the nail and try to fade it out into the blue to give the illusion of the rainbow coming out of the sky :)
I think it turned out pretty good, my nails are soo sparkly in person its kind of distracting :) This is one manicure I find that looks better in person then blow up on the picture :)

ASBMF: April Showers
Today is challenge # 3 of April Showers Bring May Flowers, which is April Showers :)
For this I decided I was going to use 2 of the polishes I got in yesterday nail mail. Nails In Baker Street, Max Factor Fantasy Fire and Models Own Ibiza Mix.
This manicure didn't turn out quiet how I envisioned it but its not to bad :)
I started out with 2 coats of the Nails Inc Baker Street. This color is the most stunning blue Ive ever seen!!! I think this is one of my favorite polishes right now, its soooo electric adn the formula was fantastic!!!!
I then applied 2 very thin coats of Max Factor Fantasy Fire. I wanted it to be streaky for the rain effect so that's why I applied it as thin as possible :) I cant wait to try Fantasy Fire over other colors!!
Now this is the part that didn't look how I felt it would. I used Models Own Ibiza Mix on the ring finger for an accent nail. Its supposed to represent the color that come out after then rain, with flowers blossoming, grass turning green, and pollen in the air :P he he !!! I think Ibiza mix would be much better over a different color :)
So what do you guys think about it?

Elemental Styles Act-inum My Age and nail mail!!!
Today I was lucky and came to a mailbox full of packages!!!! Words cant even describe how happy I was when I pulled 3 packages out of my little mail box!!! I got amazing polishes, adorable socks and yummy chocolate, the socks are from a sock swap in my birthday group :)
Here are some pictures of the mail :)
First up is a swap from Zoe over at OCNPD, she from my birthday group and also had me for the sock swap which are sooo cute!!!
She got me Models Own Head Kandi Ibiza Mix, Nails Inc Baker Street, Max Factor Intense Plum, Max Factor Disco Pink and last but not least Max Factor Fantasy Fire!!! Cant wait to try there babies out!!!!
I also had my order of Kleancolor polishes come in. I got Sugar Coat, Holo Chrome, and Chunky Holo Black!!! So excited to try these out and hopefully order more!!!
And the last mail was my other sock swap from Miagi at Pretty Kitty Claws!!! They are absolutely adorable!! The hubby loved the chocolate eggs he he!!!
Now that you guys got to see what I got to come home to its onto the nail!!! I told you yesterday that today I would use my new Elemental Styles Act-inum my age which is a franken that can be purchased from her Etsy shop!!!
The polish is a gorgeous purple holographic polish with holographic silver glitter, iridescent glitter, and large and small purple glitters!!! It takes 2 coats to get full coverage. I did find that it was a bit thick when applying but it smoothed out nicely on the second coat!!! I will definatly be buying more of her polishes after seeing how amazing this one is!!!
Isn't it amazing!!!! I have been looking for a great purple go to polish and I think Ive found it!! I bet this will be great on the toes in the summer :)
Anyways tomorrow I will be rocking out some of the lovely polishes the Zoe got me so stay tuned <3

Pretty and Polished Jawbreaker!!!
Today I had full intention to leave my Models Own Indian Ocean on for a second day since it was soooo beautiful.... I knew I would be wayyy to tried to do a whole new manicure, and I ended up talking to a fellow polish addict for an hour after work which was awesome surprise seeing her when I got off :)
But when I came home to a bottle of Pretty and Polished Jawbreaker that a friend ordered for me as a "something extra", I just had to try it out. So I decided to add it to the Indian Ocean. I used 2 coats for the tips, and for the accent nail. Then used a black stripe rite to do the black lines :)
I was unsure of how this would look but i'm really happy with it.
And of course a picture of the lovely nail mail <3333

Nail mail, haul and Models Own Indian Ocean!!!
Don't you love coming home to nail mail? Well today I was greeted with an amazing package from a lovely lady in my Birthday group. Funny thing is was all day I was hoping that his package would show up today and it did :)
The chocolate was delicious *even the hubby agreed*, the post card was adorable and the polish well that was just simply amazing since its Models Own Indian Ocean!!!
Now today at work I also purchased the new sally girl scented nail polishes!!! and of course a bottle of Seche Vite :)
Left to right they smell like the following : Grape, banana, lime, orange, cherry and coconut.
They are sooo cute and smell amazing, banana and cherry are by far my favorite for both smell and color. Will have to buy back ups of these as they are soo sticking cute :)
Now onto the NOTD. Of course I had to use my Models Own Indian Ocean. For this I layered 2 coats of Models Own Indian Ocean over 2 coats of China Glaze Kinetic Candy. I had a feeling this would be a good base for it as Indian Ocean itself is pretty sheer and I was right. I am more in love with this polish then what I thought I would be. In my hubby's words " it's the greatest polish you own". The photos really don't do this justice!!
First is with flash second is without :)
Mmmm I love this, next time i'm gonna later it over a pink I think and see how it looks. And of course I just couldn't hide its beauty with any stamping or nail art the first time wearing it :)
